Deliveroo are set to be involved for the second year running at The Great Food and Drink Festival at Nottingham Castle. After a successful event in 2015, they have decided to go bigger in 2016 by becoming a main sponsor as well as a sponsor of the music stage.

After launching in 2015, Deliveroo has gone from strength to strength in the city centre and now has more takeaway options than ever on their service. The up-market takeaway service brings quality restaurant standard food straight to your home or workplace.

Adam Snook, Community Manager for Deliveroo Midlands has said:

“Since launching in Nottingham a year or so ago the city has been great to us. Nottingham has, at its heart, a great and diverse food scene which is growing all the time.

The selection of great independent restaurants is second to none for any city of a comparable size. Backed up by some great nation chain offerings Nottingham is truly a city that has a bright future for its food scene. Any great event that helps to draw attention to this is welcome and we are proud to be a part of it.”

In the first year of the Great Food and Drink Festival at Nottingham Castle, there were over 10,000 people in attendance and with this year’s fantastic chef line-up including Tom Kerridge, Nadiya Hussain and Rustie Lee it is looking like being even more popular second time around!
