Full Name: Nadiya Jamir Hussain
D.O.B: 25 December 1984
Bio: Nadiya, who was born and raised in Luton, developed her early cooking skills at school, as her mother wasn’t a keen cook or baker and used the oven at storage.
She then went on to improve her skills further from a range of recipe books and the use of videos from YouTube.
During 2015 she appeared on the sixth series of The Great British Bake-Off, where she went on to become the champion of the show, winning the hearts of the public all over the United Kingdom.
After her winning performance on GBBO, Nadiya has gone on to bigger things as she has appeared on Loose Women, become a columnist for The Times Magazine and Essentials Magazine and has even signed publishing deals with Penguin Random House, Hodder Children’s Books and Harlequin.
