Long-time home brewer, Nick decided to make of his passion his career and completed his brewing diploma in 2015.

Having started his career in Asia working as a consultant on a brewery project and as a brewer trainer; Nick has now joined the Brewhouse & Kitchen team and is the brewer at their new Bournemouth pub.

When it comes to making beers, Nick likes to push the boundaries, he is inventive and creative with the flavours he chooses to use. His latest projects are attempting to create a 0 IBU beer and working closely with the head chef of his pub. Nick will be creating beers that can be paired with the chefs specials.

Brewhouse & Kitchen will be opening on Trent Bridge in June 2017, a brewpub who specialises in brewing craft beer onsite in a micro-brewery, they will serve 50+ different craft beers and ciders and their entire food menu will be beer matched to different styles of beer.  

The menu has a focus on cooking with beer; their 21-day aged Birchstead beef burgers are topped with their very own cask ale relish and are served in a sourdough beer bun with a side of garlic & hop salted skin-on fries and an IPA cured pickle… and their Tortilla Chips & Beer Dips served with IPA hummus & cask ale cheese sauce are great for groups to share!

Brewhouse & Kitchen will also host Beer Masterclasses and Brewery Experience Days –providing you with a chance to spend the day brewing beer with their brewer!
