Name: Matthew Charles Tebbutt
Bio: Born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire before moving to South Wales at just six-months of age, Matt went on to study at Rougemont School in Newport. His university education lead him to Oxford Brookes University where he studied Geography and Anthropology.
Matt went on to gain a diploma from the Leiths School of Food and Drink in London, before working in some of London’s most prestigious restaurants.
He owned and then ran the Foxhunter Restaurant back South Wales, Nant-y-Derry, for 15 years before leasing the pub out to concentrate on his TV career.
Matt Tebbutt has often presented Saturday Kitchen while regular host, James Martin, was away. Since James Martin has left the show, Matt has become an ever more regular presenter. He is also known for presenting Food Unwrapped on Channel 4 alongside Kate Quilton and Jimmy Doherty.
In December 2016, he co-presented Christmas Kitchen which was aired on BBC One alongside Andi Oliver.
