Butchers Bar & Steakhouse Sponsor the Big Bake at Markeaton Park.

Following a fantastic three days exhibiting at the Nottingham Food & Drink Festival, The Butchers Bar & Steakhouse will be returning to the Derby Food and Drink Festival on 17th/18th June as sponsors of the event.

Graeme Fulton (Owner) said “It was so great to speak with so many local people that have a real interest in quality food and drink. Sponsoring the Derby event and having the chance to meet even more people who may be interested in visiting our restaurant was really a no brainer. The team will be on our stand giving away some of our bar snacks, 10% off vouchers for the restaurant and even free samples of Pravha, a new lighter tasting pilsner from the brewers of Staropramen. Come and find us, say hello and grab yourself a free beer!”

The Butchers Bar & Steakhouse is a fiercely independent restaurant in the heart of Long Eaton with a strong “food first” ethos.

Housed in a former 19th century textile mill, the interior is unlike anything in the local area. Vintage Edison bulb lighting, contemporary art and original Victorian features make for a truly unique dining experience.

Begin your journey with a local gin, craft beer or even a culinary inspired cocktail such as the ever-popular Bacon Espresso Martini. There’s even the opportunity to sample local acoustic talent once a month as artists perform against the backdrop of a 10 foot high mural of the Butcher himself.

The Josper charcoal oven takes centre stage in the restaurant, providing intense flavour to a menu that is sure to be a hit with any urban carnivore. Locally sourced meat is more than just a fashionable tag line here. It’s the mantra. There is more to The Butchers than quality cuts of Derbyshire beef though, fish, chicken and vegetarian dishes are all available and prepared with the same unique style.

Diners speak of exceptional food accompanied by impeccable service, original and exciting décor and above all else, quality.
