The Great Food and Drink Festivals are delighted to present to you 'The Big Bake' which will take place at Newstead Abbey for the first time in August 2017 (26th/27th/28th).

There will be a host of well known celebrity bakers taking to our kitchen demonstration theatre, where they will be showing you how to make the perfect cakes and how to avoid that soggy bottom.

For the third year running, we will be attending Newstead Abbey for the Great Food and Drink Festivals, but the first year as a Big Bake Event! Last year was a huge success and we want to make sure that 2017 is just as good, if not better!

So far confirmed we have the wonderful, Rosemary Shrager, who will be attending the event on Sunday 27th August.

The event has grown extensively to not only the back of the abbey lawns but also the front of the abbey as well.

We have upto 100 stalls selling fabulous produce as well as the fine array of high quality artisan crafts

Lots of selection on fine ales and ciders, along with other onsite bars with a wide selection of drinks

Entertainment runs through out the day everyday with live music from 10am - 4pm

Children's entertainment is provided by the Bongo Bongo team and the fabulous Punch and Judy will be showing daily over the three days

Come try your hand at some of the baking and Master Classes that are running each day.
